I’m currently undergoing physiotherapy after breaking my wrist several months ago, resulting in a stiff wrist and fingers. After popping the wheat bag in the microwave for a couple of minutes, I wrap it around my wrist, hand and fingers to warm them up before physio, which helps loosen the joints, thus making them more malleable pre ‘manipulation’ by the physiotherapist and also before I exercise them myself at home. This is by far the best heat warming pad we have had and the fact that we have had a number of them in the past speaks volumes! Brilliant product - why would you not want a soft cuddly giraffe that is super cute and also acts as a heat pack?? The heat lasts for ages and the fur means that it doesn't get too hot like a hot water bottle so safe for kids too (but equally good for adults!) Recommend 100%. (Eleanor, 31/01/2024)
