Loved by Lord Lewey - I bought this for my cat Lewey, who is getting on a bit and suffers from arthritis. I noticed this year that the winter is affecting him more than usual and he always seemed stiff and looked cold. After searching on-line, I came across Wheatybags and saw the pet heat-pack. Lewey loves anything fleecey; I like that it can be put in the microwave and personalised. It didn't take long for his star-pattened, super-soft heat-pack with the words 'Lord Lewey' to arrive and he loved it straight away. My back adores this wheaty bag!! - I just love the new T shaped wheaty bag which either wraps its 'arms' around my shoulders or around the back of my office chair. In either case the 'back' bit of it is just bliss to lean against - especially if you spend far too much time at your computer with an aching back - as I do!! Lovely winter warmer - Since I received my neck wheaty bag, I have been suggled up every evening with it. It is a neck warmer but I've warmed up my legs, hips arms whilst watching TV. My daughters are taking turns to take it to bed. My youngest likes to wrap her favourite teddy up in it. As I don't get much time with my wheaty bag, I have order my daughters one each for Christmas. Neck and Shoulder Pack - I ordered this to help with longstanding neck pain as a result of 'wear and tear' for which I've had physiotherapy. I bought the slightly more expensive version with internal seams which holds the wheat in position and I think this was a good decision. The product is very well made, arrived in good time and does exactly what it is supposed to do. I'm sure it has improved my condition and it's also comfortable and a very pleasant sensation to wear. So, so comfortable to go to bed with - Having an ongoing neck and shoulder problem this bag has helped my control my discomfort. I used to take ages to get to sleep and find a comfortable position, but sitting in bed reading for half an hour with this lovely warmth around my neck has enabled me to get to sleep as soon as my book gets put down. So relaxing! - I purchased this wheaty bag for my eyes as they get very sore and tired by the end of the day. I warm it in the microwave and take it to bed and lie back and relax. Its great. Good product - I ordered this because I had dry itchy eyes and have found it very soothing. It is easy to use, the fleece is nice and soft, the lavender smells divine and the product seems well made. Excellent personalisation - I purchased two wheat bags and requested they be personalised. They are very well made and I like the fact that the wheat is in sections so it does not all fall to one side. I also like the fact that I could choose NOT to have lavender included. Highly recommended - These producats are a great innovation. They are easy to use and the intensity of the heat generated by the microwaved wheat does a great job of soothing stiffness or pain. WheatyBag for the neck - This is an excellent product, very well made and comfortable to wear. It retains it's heat well and the design means that your shoulders also benefit from the warmth. very soothing - I am suffering from very dry eyes and my optician recommended that I buy one of these wheatbags. The optician tried to sell me a wheatpack which cost approx £20 so I was glad I held off and bought from the more reasonably priced Wheatybags. Good size heat pack that lasts and lasts! - Probably the largest wheat bag that you could realistically put in a microwave. Simply fold over the shoulder extensions and place in a microwave. Our microwave is 800W and I found 2 minutes 30 seconds was sufficient to give a good heat for this size pack. Fits comfortably around the neck and provides enough shoulder and upper back warmth to help with tired neck muscles and upper arm aches. Even after 30 minutes the pack was still warm enough to be of effect and the lavender helps to mask the wheat whiff! Not sure if it would be safe to heat this for any longer without risk of burning. I do occasionally stand a small glass of water in the corner of the microwave whilst heating to prevent the pack from drying out too much. WheatyBags.co.uk offer a very efficient service and delivery, although it would be nice if the instructions for heating were more specific to this particular pack. Definitely much better than those so called chemical heat packs you buy in your local chemist. The shoulder bags also help to retain the pack in place on your neck and prevent it slipping off.
