I have been told 5 weeks ago by a consultant at hospital that I had blephitis and a blocked duct; he instructed me to to follow a series of procedures including the use of artificial tears for 6 weeks and then to have an operation to clear the duct. About week 3 I recalled the wheat filled pads from some distant memory and thought it would be more efficient than using cotton wool pads in hot water to hold over my eyes. I ordered one and after 4 days of use, my eyes are fine and are, so far, behaving normally. I am very pleased and relieved. (M. Bland, 22/05/2013)

I am carrying a couple of very old whiplash injuries which occasionally flare up and my neck and upper spine go very stiff. I needed something to put some warmth into my back and neck. A hot water bottle would only do half the job, it would leave the sides of my neck uncovered. I knew exactly what I wanted, something like a wheat bag but in the shape of a 'T' so it could wrap round the sides of my neck. Having sustained whip lash, I was advised by my Physio Therapist to use oe of these. I bought a bright pink one - which cheers me up, and heat it in the microwave for 2 minutes. I have severe back pain in the base of my spine. I find 20-30 minutes with a warm wheat bag on the trouble spot eases the stiffness and aids mobiity. I replaced a worn bag with this one from Whaeaty Bags. It is excellent and retans the heat from the microwave. It was delivered speedily. Good product. Recommended for any back pain. This little eye mask is perfect. I get blephritis and was using a hot flannel and my hot water bottle as I couldn't find anything else. I was over the moon when I found your web site as I have been looking everywhere for a decent wheat bag. Your one is the best. I have suffered with hypermobility in my neck and shoulders since I was 11 and the only thing the doctor could really prescribe was get and ibruprofen. This bag has really helped me since receiving it in the post a few weeks ago and the service was great, only took a week to make my wheat bag in the shape and fabric I wanted and deliver it all for an extremely reasonable price. I been suffering from fluid retention around my eyes and decided to buy wheatybag for eyes to see if it helped. I found the heat soothed my eyes and helped disperse the fluid. Dad bought this to ease the chronic pain he gets in his neck and shoulders resulting from his work in the chilled department of a supermarket distribution centre. I bought the multipack last winter. I really like the neutral colour and that it is unscented, which means my husband/son can use them as well. they are weighty, designed to sit well on the shoulders without slipping and they hold heat well. I was given a wheat heat bag a few years ago for my painful shoulder. A revelation. So easy to heat and reuse. I can't rate this heat bag highly enough! My old bad (bought years ago from a different company) was worn out but I was reluctant to replace it. Then I found the WheatyBags site and was convinced to give the old one up. I haven't regretted it. Great back coverage, wheat stays in place thanks to the bag being sown into segments and it holds it's heat really well.
