Neuralgia

Neuralgia is an extremely painful condition that originates in the nerves, affecting mainly the face and head. There are two main types of Neuralgia. Trigeminal Neuralgia involves intense facial pain for short, sharp periods, whereas Postherpatic Neuralgia is a continuous pain that occurs as a complication of shingles.

Neuralgia can be difficult to treat with conventional pain medication so it becomes important to seek alternative therapies when trying to ease the condition.
